Materials Processor
Kellogg, Ia • Britt, Ia
Material Processors perform a wide variety of tasks throughout the day (no day is the same!) that include sorting and moving recyclable metal materials, with forklifts and by hand, and operating machinery and hand tools to assist in the processing of metal materials. We also dismantle appliances, properly handling and disposing of any contaminants, such as freon. Work is performed year round, both inside and outside warehouses.
Heavy Equipment Operator
Kellogg, Ia
Our heavy equipment operators are the heart of our yard, utilizing our mobile baler, shear, excavator, magnet crane, and grapple crane to sort and move recyclable metal materials, unload inbound materials, and load outbound materials. Experience working in a scrap yard is a plus, but not a requirement. An ideal candidate would have experience with multiple types of heavy equipment, able to work in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines, and have knowledge of general maintenance of the equipment you are operating.
Shop Assistant
Waterloo, Ia
Our in-house maintenance and repair shop keeps our team movin'! Shop Assistants aide our diesel mechanic in maintenance and repairs to our trucks, trailers, and equipment. Responsibilities include ordering, receiving, and picking up parts, performing general maintenance of equipment, and assisting in various repairs.
